I am passionate about many things. I am a pollo vegetarian, have been for years and I love my veggies. I'm a fashion fanatic. I love art, art moves me to no end. Somehow I manage to relate art into everything I do in life. Music. Music, as Steppenwolf sang "just let the sound take you away". Music is an amazing form of self expression, right up on my list with art. I also love painting, sketching, flowers, drinking with my loves, Pittsburgh sports, men who play the guitar and breaking out into song and dance. Oh yeah, I also enjoy playing tennis, randon road trips and reading sometimes. Go me, the intellect.
I enjoy meeting people who are nice, fun and outgoing :)
I will listen to just about everything from techno to screamo to celtic. I definately dig rap when it comes to dancing and love to rock hard, but generally I love it all. But what comes to mind is John Mellencamp, BTO, Presidents of the United States, The Beatles, Seconds Before the Crash, Coldplay, Tom Petty, John Fogerty, They Might Be Giants, OAR, Cheap Trick, Anberlin, The Postal Service, Bob Marley, T-Pain, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Copeland, Panic! At the Disco, Death Cab for Cutie, AFI, Micheal Jackson, Blue Oyster Cult, Rilo Kiley, Eric Clapton, Tegan and Sara, CCR, Young Love, Blues Traveler, Van Halen, Bad Company, Sublime, An Evening Affair, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Buckcherry, Third Eye Blind, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mae, Billy Joel, Cake, Pat Benetar, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Goo Goo Dolls, Modest Mouse, Bridge and Phil, Jimi Hendrix, Boston, The Chemical Brothers, Def Leppard, Phil Collins, Neil Young, Paula Cole, The White Stripes, Sarah McLachan, Happy Birthday Geyer, The Gap Band, David Bowie, Earth Wind and Fire, TLC, Fleetwood Mac and etc.
Caddyshack, Forest Gump, Scarface, Dazed and Confused, Houseguest, Studio 54, Easy Money, Lemony Snickets and pretty much anything done by Tim Burton, The Blues Brothers, Thank You for Smoking, Dumb and Dumber, Goodfellas, Lampoon's movies, A Bronx Tale, A Hippie's Murphy, Boondock Saints, Cremaster film series, Shawshank Redemption, Gone in 60 Seconds, Zoolander and Casino. I mainly like comedy and good Italian movies.
If I find time, I like Roseanne, Blind Date, Seinfeld, True Life, Family Guy, King of Queens, Sex and the City, and etc.
White Lilacs and it's sequel were two of the most amazing books I have ever read, Hippie, To Kill A Mocking Bird, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Great Expectations. I also love Edgar Allen Poe dearly, though I mostly enjoy his poetry.
Heroes, eh. I guess most musicans from the late 60's, early 70's were heroes to some extent because their music had a real message against a senseless war and the conformist society, unlike alot of today's music which tends to simply bitch and moan about randomness. There are many people I admire, but yeah. I will have to get back to you on that one.
