It all started on July 19th, 2006. On the start of the TTP in Carson. We were forced into seperate groups by AIFI. That's the American Indian Film Institute. But we said "Fuck this!" and came together and formed our own group, called the Megaducks. The next thing we know the BAMF (Bad Ass Mother Fucker)Larry Blackhorse Lowe shoved Dan Golding out of his way and sat down at our table. Then that's when all the magic happened and we began writing our film. Well, actually Stephanie wrote like 90% of it. She's even writing all of this right now.(Steph: Hell yeah...lazy bastards). Our first idea was to make a Horror/Comedy but the other half of the group wanted to make a Romantic/Comedy. Ha ha ha. So the group split in two and we went solo, some what.
In our group we had decided to make our film about Christians and Zombies. The main point of our film being: Which is worse? Christians. However, news of our idea got out and our cinematic golden ideas were crushed. Broken. Shattered. Wanted dead. And we all shed a tear and screamed "NOOOOOO!!!!" --- okay. So we brought our brains together, literally, and tried to figure out whats the next worst thing besides christians? Jews! No... Blacks! No... HIPPIES!!! *Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!* So then we had our film. Hippies and Zombies. But it needed something else. It was missing that SPARK. SO we threw in some Punk kids, two girls, and a blow up love doll. Perfect! Then we all jumped for joy high in the air, our arms outstretched, legs bent and DING! (hi five). So for the next couple days we wrote our script and found our actors and actresses. Our hippies were to be played by Paul Stoll, Dan Golding, Sarah Del Soronde, Amity, and Timmee Osorio. Our punks played by Jake Painter and Aaron Wallace. The girls by Kathleen Scott and Kalynn Payne. And finally our zombies by random native kids willing to get dirty, bloody, and full on zombified.
Next, we found our place to shoot the film and we set up our cameras and sound. So we shot our film literally laughing our asses off after every scene. Finally we were done with all the blood, raw meat, hippies, zombies, girls, punks, and styrofoam heads. We had kicked Carson's ass and tore shit up. Next was editing. And with the help of punk rock gods the Misfits and GG Allin were thrown into the mix. "White rabbit" and "Why Can't We Be Friends" as well. Then before we knew it we were done with the film and our film was brought to life!
And we named this little piece of cinematic gold. . .
