Haunting harmonies, dark pulsating rhythms and soaring vibrato came on a voyage from Terra Australis to Hibernia ten years ago. Katherine and her violin played in Australia, with theatre performances, bands and mostly in Melbourne with cabaret/lounge/punky Dave Last Orchestra (DLO), gambolling with seventies music, and whipping up magic with her bow. Playing with singer/songwriters in Dublin, Katherine has discovered new and dynamic ways to enhance the inherent musical feeling of each artist. The International Bar was the platform for her Irish initiation, and following that an acoustic blues collaboration with the Dave Murphy.
