About Me

a bit reserved, yet outspoken, a bit mysterious, yet open, kind of self-conscious, yet an exibitionist, not sure, but opinionated, sarcastic and silly, yet very serious, contradictory in so many ways...

My Interests

stupid movies, bars, eating, wine with high alcohol %, cheese, artsy and craftsy stuff (first and last thursdays), shopping for secondhand anything, icecapades, muscle cars, fortmaking, Stumptown coffee, cheap shows, bikes, laughing at dumb stuff, people who make me giggle

I'd like to meet:

Miranda July, Kat Von D, PJ Harvey, Male models who adore short girls; I love bonding with people from all walks of life. I can find a common ground with just about anyone. After all, we all just want to find new perspectives on life, with inspiration from each human encounter...don't we? I love passionate, insightful, funny, open-minded, and cool people.

Music:

Hmmm...right now it's Magnetic Fields, the Black Angels, Alice in Chains, neko case, Cat Power, the Cure, yo la tengo, bootsy collins, thievery corporation, red house painters, stereolab, pj harvey, Love and Rockets, the black keys, talkdemonic, RJD2, radiohead, jose gonzalez, the Sea and Cake, The Stooges, mos def, goldfrapp, beth orton, Dead Meadow, The Helio sequence, Loch Lomond, The Smiths, Glass Candy, 80's buttrock, 80's new wave, Dead Meadow, fu manchu...too many

Television:

Tila Tequila. What a ho. But all those lame reality shows are good, and you all know it. Don't deny that you can't get into rock of love, and that Scott Baio is pregnant. What an exciting world we live in. Oh, and anything on TLC. That family with all those damn kids makes me want to get my tubes tied.

Books:

Only on tape, unless someone reads aloud to me. Does Us Weekly count?

Heroes:

My Family
