SWARED a.k.a Lino "D" Meglio was born in Naples on the 28-08-1972 and started his career as a dj at the age of 12, setting up parties for his friends. At the age of 16 he started playing professionally in some of the most important clubs in Naples, such as MY WAY,IL CAPOVERDE,IL PUNTO BLANCO where he performs with Alessandra Argentino. With her he moves to the Dylan Dog and D&D clubs. In 1991 he goes to Torre Molinos, Spain, where he works as a dj for 6 months. In 1992 he joined the project Angels Of Love and he started working with worldwide stars such as MURK,DANNY TENAGLIA,FRANKIE KNUCKLES,JUSTIN BERKMANN,DAVE MORALES,LITTLE LOUIE VEGA,TONY HUMPHRIES,FRANKIE FELICIANO and the most important Italian djs such as RALF,ALEX NERI,MASSIMINO LIPPOLI,IVAN IACOBUCCI,RICKY MONTANARI,CLAUDIO DI ROCCO,ETC. He keeps on playing with the Angels Of Love for 10 years and he also performed in London to the Maximus with them. He played in the most of important clubs in Naples such as MADISON,METROPOLIS,DIVA,KISS KISS, CUBE,MY TOY,MY WAY,MILES,WHITE,HAVANA,LIDO POLA,LIDO CIRCE ,ENNENCY, OLD KING,STARGATE, and many others.
In 1998 he formed the House Club group,a famous project, and every Fridays he plays with the most important Italian djs ; the group has been acknowledged with some articles on newspapers such as MATTINO, TREND DISCOTEQUE, VERITA' and many others. On Saturdays he often plays to the different clubs around the Italy: he performed to CLASSICO , ALIEN, SUBURBIA and ABSOLUTELY, in Rome; in every clubs in Palermo; TAITU',STUDIO54, MARABU', in Taormina; CLONE ZONE and many others in Catania; IN CALABRIA he usually performs every year at the event ALLA VECCHIA FATTORIA; every year he plays to the PARTY IN THE WOOD & ON THE BEACH too, by ALEX ANCONITANO in Pescara; then CAMPOBASSO,ISERNIA, ASTI, ALESSANDRIA, PRATO, METROPOLITAN GARDEN of MILANO and many other cities. In 2006 Lino goes to Dublin and plays in various clubs with the Italian Factory group and in the same year he becomes dj resident at the QI club in Brescia.
But Lino is also a producer: in 2000 his first album called HC Experience was released by the label Test Pressing, which also allowed Lino to remix some tracks such as Controversie by BODY TALK, a cover of RUDE by PRINCE;SO MANY TIME of GADJO, released by OXYD RECORDS; MODERN GIRL by BUSTIN LOSE;EVERY BODY IN DA PLACE by DJ SIMI AND MASTER KEY;PFUNK ;UMILENIK and two remixes for Pride Records in Verona. Among his personal records we can find: CAFFE',DIRTY PIANO,FULL LIFE,THE BREAK,DADDY'S GROOVE,SUBSOUND PROJECT RIDE,OHM BOYS CRUSH,NU' LID,PROGRAM. By SONDOS a label which is part of SUBLIMINAL RECORDS "swaRED", on the Re-Test label THE ROOT MAMA ,THE SHOW DADDY'S GROOVE NEW , YES I CAN ,PLAY MATE ,WORRY IT. In the summer of 2006 the single Rendez Vous was released. This track which features the collaboration with Marco Corvino, is one of the singles edited under the name Daddy's Groove and is sung by Coleman. It is already successfully broadcast and it will be a hit single pretty soon as Radio 105 (the first one that promoted it) and other radios are sponsoring the track and it is already been included in some of the most recent compilations.
In 2007 Lino goes to the Winter Music Conference in Miami and meets two famous Spanish djs from Madrid : Chus and Ceballos. Now he works with them for the Stereo label and has founded with them a digital project called Minoitalia, has published a revisited version of Depeche Mode called Feel Loved.
In Italy Lino works for the Stefano Noferini Sound4Group and Melodica from Brescia and he is founding a new Neapolitan label called Voga Records.
