hi... darrens the name i am a co promoter and resident dj of FIRESKY a brand set up in 2007 to showcase local talent playing alongside the big name heros of the present. we put on some pretty impressive events in 2007 booking the likes of hixxy, cally& juice, dave joy,stormtrooper and many more. 2007 seen FIRESKY blaze on to the scene and make a big impact on the south west clubbing scene. 2008 is set to carry on where we left off in 2007 and take FIRESKY onwards and upwards.On a personal note i have been on the clubbing/rave scene since 1990/91 and have seen many changes over the years. I have always had and will always have a love for the scene ,the music, the people and the buzz created by it all, it has been part of my life for half my life so you could say i am in it for life. Back in the day my heros were slipmatt, carl cox, ellis dee, ratpack, all ,the old skool jocks were the bollox. These days i think the music has progressed leaps and bounds to the sounds of yesteryear... all though i will always hold a place in my heart foir the old skool sounds... todays music is so advanced and the sounds created are far superior to the sounds that were around when i started out. My personal music choices are hard trance/tech trance/hardstyle...but not in that order !!!! i particularly like the tech trance sound...lots of scary noises !!!! and its great for a warm up to a hard dance night.anyways enough about me..... get your ass down to a FIRESKY it will be worth it !!!!!!
