Joshua Isbell

Josh was a starry-eyed young space child, and at the tender age of 15, he decided it was time to rock. Growing up in Tucson, Arizona, he spent his critical early rocking days jamming out with his best bro Noah, and the two would play Smashing Pumpkins and Pixies songs as loud as the neighbors would allow. Then Tradgedy struck, and Josh moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Alienated in a strange town, he poured his angst into the terrible noise of the 'Songs Away from Home' demo. Shortly thereafter, he made an ill-fated attempt to move back to Tucson and conqueor the world with Noah, but the cash ran out. Despairing, he returned to the SLC to search for a new songwriting partner. There were none to be found. He was booked for solo gigs, then politely informed that the shows had been 'overbooked', and he was not allowed to rock. And so, in May of 2003, Joshua Isbell enlisted in the United States Marine Corps...and his free spirit was almost crushed forever.But now, with his time in the service approaching it's end, Josh has returned...to rock a street corner or park near you.
