R0SE is a 20 year-old singer and songwriter, who is about to hit this industry by storm. She discovered her God-given voice at the tender age of 3. At 12, she wrote her first song and has been honing her craft ever since. In 2003, R0SE competed in the legendary, "Showtime at the Apollo" and took home 3 consecutive wins. She has performed all over Los Angeles. Everywhere from the Staples Center, the Shrine Auditorium, Miyagi's, and even at your local Poetry Lounge. R0SE finds her inspiration in artists, Stevie Wonder, Billie Holiday, Alicia Keys, and Donny Hathaway. In 2006, she took the title of the US Pinoy Pop Superstar Champion. She then spent some time overseas in the Philippines, to represent Northern America and continue competing in the grand finals of Pinoy Pop Superstar. After the competition, R0SE landed the opportunity to make her radio debut on 102.3 KJLH in Los Angeles, singing the theme song of the "Spoken Word Wednesdays" on the Morning Show. Recently, R0SE has found her home as a songwriter with a writing team, the Better Writer's Bureau. She aspires to create great music for other artists, as well as herself. While she waits for the day to come when she breaks the mold and shows the world a different color of music.
