In 2002, Damone created his flagship salon, Damone Roberts Beverly Hills. The salon is rich in vibrant color, fine furniture, artwork collected from his travels around the world, and scented with his signature collection candle. His second location Damone Roberts New York will be opening in Frebruary 12th, 2008 on the world famous 5th Avenue.

Born in Long Beach, CA and raised in the projects of Oakland, CA Damone always had big dreams. While following his love of the Arts, a teacher entered a drawing Damone had done into a nationwide scholarship program for a semester’s instruction at Rutgers University free of charge, to be taught by the world’s best art teachers. Damone’s project taking 1st place was a defining moment in his life. It was here he learned about balance and structure, how to bring out a person’s features, and most importantly, that what makes one different & unique, can make you beautiful. Damone considers himself a beauty therapist. He uses his hands to create art, but his experiences and an open ear are the real foundation for what has made for a successful career. Blessed with a strong work ethic and dedication to be very successful, Damone believes his greatest success is not only showing people how to see themselves in a special way but in making them live it, love it, and most importantly, believe it.
