Aaron White is currently the Director of Music Education and a Primary Guitar Instructor at GnG Music Instruction .
Aaron White is a singer-songwriter on the verge of releasing his first CD, The Delicious Death of an Ohio Honey Hunter. A Columbus native, Aaron has been an established musician for over a decade. He has played at such notable venues as Stache’s, Newport Music Hall, and Little Brother’s, and with various (now-defunct) bands such as Manchild, Gag, and Full Flavor. Currently, Aaron contributes lead and rhythm guitar stylings to the pop-rock of Bodhi and the Kung Fu Buddhists, and also plays bass for punk band Nerd Table. But Aaron allows his songwriting capabilities to shine on Delicious Death, a collection of twelve original tunes inspired by folk, blues, country, rock, and the singer’s own travels across the United States. Recorded and mixed at Mindfield Studios by Andy Sartain and mastered by Brian Lucey at Magic Garden Mastering, the album features prominent Columbus musicians Chris Whitney and Lou Schocken (formerly of Local Color), Kenny Caterer (Katz-N-Jammers), Greg Gould (BKFB), and Maxx Davis (Naserine Machine). The Delicious Death of an Ohio Honey Hunter is projected to be released in 2009, and the tracks are currently available for listening and download at myspace.com/aaronwhitemusic.
