About Me

I'm Amanda, I'm 22 years old and I'm taking English Language and Literature at Brock University. After I graduate, I want to get my Master's degree and teach English in college (they make more money than my original idea of teaching high school lol). I have an amazing boyfriend named Mark, whom I live with, and we've been dating for over 4 years. He is my best friend and my soul mate! My friends mean the world to me and I would do anything for them! It hurts that I don't get to see some of the ones every day like I used to but I hope they still know I love them dearly.♥ Below is a list of things about me, and I will add more eventually!

Make fun of them all you want, you're just insecure about your own team ♥ I believe in God ♥ I look forward to the future every day, but still live in the moment ♥ A few of my close friends are like soul mates; I met them for a reason and they have changed who I am♥ I like TV ♥ I like reading and writing ♥ I am shy, but most of the time I speak my mind ♥ Even though I drink water, I don't really like it because it actually makes me more thirsty ♥ I love card and board games ♥ I want to see a tornado in person ♥ I'm facinated by thunderstorms ♥ I like shopping at Ikea ♥ I HATE celery and if I smell it or taste it, I will vomit ♥ I love swimming ♥ I like nice sunny days where there's a slight cool breeze ♥ I treat people how I want to be treated ♥ I'm a bit of a germaphobe ♥ I want to swim with sharks ♥ I actually swear quite a bit ♥ I look forward to the future ♥ I'm a sucker for cute stuffed animals ♥ I like cute stickers ♥ I say "cute" a lot ♥ I wish I knew how to play piano or guitar ♥ I like sparkly things ♥ I'm very particular about some things ♥ I LOVE being in pajamas ♥ I always chew gum when I go out, and always have gum in my purse ♥ I LOVE the smell of Spring ♥ One of the best days of my life was when my little brother was born - I can't believe how grown up he is now! I love him more every day ♥ I like being nice to people because it makes me a very happy person ♥

My Interests

Movies, reading, writing, music, photography and most importantly, I love my friends and family to death! And my boyfriend Mark of course! ♥

Music:

I LOVE MUSIC! Except for the really country music with twanging and stuff. I usually like single songs by random artists, but some of my fav artists are: Rihanna, Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Metallica, Nirvana, City and Colour, Justin Timberlake, Johnny Cash, Nelly Furtado, Nickelback, Pussycat Dolls, Eminem, Missy Elliot, Kelly Clarkson, Billy Talent, The Backstreet Boys, Avril Lavigne, Our Lady Peace, Coldplay, Korn, Hilary Duff, Finger Eleven, JoJo, Jennifer Lopez, Ludacris, Elvis Presley, Christina Aguilera, Audioslave, Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, illScarlett

Movies:

I love all kinds of movies from Chick Flicks to Horror and everything in between. Some of my favourites are Old School, The Wedding Singer, Mean Girls, Ever After, Legally Blonde, Dodgeball, The Sound of Music, All 3 Mighty Ducks, Walk the Line, Something New...just to name a few...the list goes on. Those are just the ones I could watch over and over again and have seen over a million times.

Television:

My favourite TV shows are The OC (even though it's over now!), Friends, Sex and the City, The Simpsons and Family Guy. I also love Southpark, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Miami Ink and the Sopranos. AND hockey of course! And I don't know why, but I actually like some reality TV such as American Idol, American's Next Top Model and Big Brother. Don't ask why. I find it entertaining.

Heroes:

-My Grandma♥
