About Me

Bands may come and go, but great music lives forever.Kingsize were such a band. Formed in a bedroom in the Charleston area of Dundee by childhood acquaintances Eddie Grady and Gavin Jack, the aspirations and musical talent of the pair matched the moniker. The journey would take them from 'T in the Park' for their 9th gig, on to a personal invite to play at 'In The City', to the ends of the country and back, and from the highest highs to the most crushing lows. And, but for record company politics, poor management, and downright bad luck, they would have been on every cereal box and in every CD player in the country. Alas, like the wings of a rare butterfly, such beauty is not really meant to last, and inevitably the members moved on to other pursuits, but Kingsize left behind an aural testimony of how cruel life really can be, and how sometimes its not in the winning, but the taking part. And so, this site exists as a gift, of some great music by a great band, criminally left unheard by the public at large. Download it, share it, burn it, but listen to and enjoy it. Because great music lives forever.
