italian digital artist/graphic designer living in LondonDOC. Over the last few years I have taking care of a project of mine accled Doc; it is a digital mixed media project that focuses on the relation exhisting between human beings and the environment, in terms of urban landscapes.More specifically it is involved in targeting a specific territory in which to act; a series of different subjects, representative of the local society, is interviewed and involved in the research; a theme tied to the territory that guides the research by crossing through it horizontally, giving pause for reflection to the different subjects involved.The individuals selected become the protagonists of the works and the symbols of the research; they are involved, scanned (portrayed with a scanner) and interviewed by me in a way that reconstructs an image not only physical, but also historical for each of them.Their memories and experiences guide my journey inside their environment, in search of the spaces and structures that have influenced their own personal history, the places becoming a symbol that can be used as a point of reference. The personal histories of the individuals involved are integrated with the images, sounds and smells of the environment, inside visual and sound installations and/or impressed as digital prints, in documents material and digital reconstructed during the research stage, on monitor screens or in video projections.So far I have presented the project in Bruxelles, Rome, Milan, Athens, Montecarlo, Siena and Toronto. At the moment I am preparing a study about the city of Berlin, where I have recently spent 2 months of time collecting material, now to be organised.I have been selected and presented by Achille Bonito Oliva for the Biennal of Valencia. I have participated at the Biennal of the Young Artists of the Mediterannean. In the last 3 years I have been working close to Gianluca Marziani, Italian curator more specialized in young Italian artists who kindly introduced, curated and presented my itinerant project at the GemineMuse and Premio Celeste. Moreover I have received the appreciation of Lorenzo Canova, from the collection of the Farnesina and Rubino Rubini, who invited me for a solo exhibition at Palazzo Venezia in Rome.
