The X&Y Project - Coldplay Tribute

About Me

The X&Y Project is the brainchild of Nick Swan, a New York City based recording artist. He also happens to be the writer of this bio. A full explanation of the project and all it entails can be found in the Blogs section. A few notes for the record, though...This project is a tribute to Coldplay, though it is my hope that this music will be appreciated by both hardcore fans of the band and non-fans alike. In no way am I making money off of any of these songs. If anything, I have lost money and a considerable amount of time working on this. It was, as the cliche goes, a labor of love, and since I obviously will be unable to sell this material, I thought this would be the best means of getting the music out there to those who would wish to hear it. Any comments, positive or negative, are welcome. If you enjoy my versions of these tunes, please visit my page and have a listen to some of my original material. Other than that, God bless, and enjoy the music...

Two Upcoming Shows

Well, when I finished this project two years ago, a few people suggested that I put together a live gig to showcase the material. For whatever reason, I never got around to doing that. Partly, I felt ...

Notes about The X&Y Project

A note on the name... Those who are in the fortunate disposition to know me well have come to learn that I have a particular aversion to the word "project" when it is used to describe music. Its not t...
