When I want to laugh (and I mean HYSTERICALLY), I rent any move with Ben Stiller and his crew. The Departed is EXCELLENT. I also love movies about real people and real events. And, of course, a good documentary.

All time favorite: The Joy Luck Club. I poured through The DaVinci Code. I highly recommend The Red Tent to all mothers ( esp. if you have a girl) and The Good Earth is a great "circle of life" book. Lately, though, Dr. Seuss has become the number 1 author in my household. And, might I add, I have found The Lorax to be a very poignant short story about today's times!!! Ha! Everyone Needs a Schneed!!
