Fashion design is a passion of mine. I love to sew and create new things. Music is very important to me. It makes me feel whole. I love to sing and play the piano. I haven't done it for a while but I like to write poetry. I like to go geocaching with my husband (it's like a big kids treasure hunt).
I could ramble on in this section forever. I love such a wide range of music. Some of my favorites are Tori Amos, Missy Higgins, October Project, Collective Soul, Green Day, Sinaed O'Connor, Cyndi Lauper, Ani Difranco, Keb Mo, Loreena McKennitt, The bulk of 80's music. This list could go on and on.
I must admit I am a sucker for a chick flick. I like B rated horror flick because they amuse me. I also like true stories that show humanities true heroism. One movie that sticks out in my mind is 'Girls Just want to have fun' because my sister and I used to watch it almost every weekend when we were younger.
My all time favorite TV show is The Simpsons. I think the writers are so clever. I hate to say it but there are a few reality shows that I am addicted to like Survivor and The Amazing Race. I would watch Project Runway if I had cable.
Unfortunately I don't read very much. I think that I should but for some reason I don't. I do like the Harry Potter books but I am only on book five. I also love Children books. The whole Ramona series, anything by Robert Munch, Shel Silverstein's poetry, of course Dr. Seuss, Where the Wild Things Are, Alexander and the No Good Very Bad day.
My wonderful husband Chris. He is my whole world. He has taught me so much about myself. My Sister Mary Anne for always looking out for me. For being a role model of a strong woman. Brad, for being the father of my heart. For always believing in me and for seeing me through the dark. Mikayla, for being so strong. We have been through the mud together and some how you always stayed smiling. Aundra, for having such a pure heart. Robin, for you feistiness never taking crap from anyone. The Dahli Lama, for his persistance through adversity. Bill Gates for realizing his power and using it to help humanity.
