I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Busy. No, really. I'm a freelance writer, publicist, and researcher.I write both poetry and fiction...and when I'm trying to avoid finishing my work, I make YouTube videos with crappy video software.I'm also a visual artist , although I admit my current project's curtailed that for awhile...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with an appreciation for art, literature, event planning, independent films and/or traveling. I'd especially love to make contacts in New York City, Miami-Dade or Prague.I'd also love to network with people in the PR, journalism and publishing communities.I'm not a MySpace Friend collector for its own sake, so when I do e-mail a stranger and follow up with a Friend Request, you can be sure that I've put some thought into my action and think we can be more than just squares on each other's pages. Also, I respect the time of contacts I don't know very well. You won't see a bulletin or e-mail from me unless I'm sure you will find it relevant or interesting -- and that will be rare. (I hope you'll do the same.) .... ..I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

It is a dark and stormy night....

So I'm still liking this Victorian brownstone, old fixtures and brown paneling et al, and wish I could explore more of the house, but even the front parlor doesn't seem to be "common living area" prop...

Irony in Brooklyn

Park Slope's neighborhood association has laminated signs reading "No flyers/ads/menus" on which all my neighbors attach to the gates of their brownstones...but it's also very, very commonplace to lea...

Woke up this morning, it was a Chelsea morning...

I just returned from a whirlwind 18 hours in NYC to collect the keys to my "summer place" of the year and move the first batch of things in. I stayed in a hostel last night in the East Village, a favo...

Eyes Without a Face

Apparently, whoever wrote the above 80s song (Billy Idol or otherwise) must have happened upon a fallen baby robin while on a serious writer's block jag. For the next two weeks, I do not want to see, ...
