My name's James; I'm a 24-year-old from Los Angeles, California who has just moved to Japan's Kanagawa prefecture in Yokohama City in March of 2008. I graduated from UCLA with a B.A in Econ-International Areas Study and a Minor in Japanese. Currently I work as an elementary school in Yokohama as an AET (Assistant English Teacher).Since I've only recently moved to Japan, everything here is still very new and fascinating to me; plus, I'm still quite ecstatic about being here in Japan. My Japanese is not very good -- it's only at an intermediate level or so -- but I hope to improve it as much as possible during the duration of my stay here in Japan.I consider myself to be a pretty easygoing and friendly person -- mayhaps a bit funny. When I have free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, and playing video games.By the by,　I was born and raised in America but my parents are Thai and Chinese.
