Fernando has been singing most of his life beginning with the influences of his Godparents and family. Later in life after listening and studying great singers and teachers, he began to groom himself into becoming a leader in his craft. Fernando has a (sojaspel) style of music, which is a fusion of soul, jazz, and gospel. Fernando is a recording artist, a lead singer of a local band (Higher Ground) and a member of an international ministry (TPW). He has been entertaining for approximately 10 years in genres spanning from R&B, Jazz, Gospel, and Opera fusing all of his creativeness to produce the sound he possesses which is conveyed in his rich velvety tenor tone.
Over the years, Fernando has been blessed to sing in Japan, India, and Italy. Through those times God granted him the opportunity to open for KC&JoJo, Vicki Winans, Montell Jordan, Gary Jenkins, and H Town and he has sang background for Karen Clark-Sheard and Richard Smallwood.
Fernando's greatest desire in his music is to effect you in the heart, mind, and soul. Although Fernando is far from his destiny he will continue to strive for higher acheivements through his journey.
