I also do keyboard and horn section work via a Roland GR-20. Starting at an early age, I've been in the music industry since 1965. My vocal training in high school and with the help of my mother's musical influence, I have developed a vocal range that permits me to sing just about any kind of music style. But at the same time adding my own feel that comes straight from the heart. One of my most memerable moments was when I was inducted into the Louisisana Hall of Fame along with the "Tramps" whom will always have a special place in my heart. I have worked with a lot of wonderful entertainers in my career including , "We the people", GG Shinn, Willie T, Eddie Raven (Futch), Warren Storm, Greg Martinez, Patch Work, Allen Wayne, TK Hulin, Mike Legnon and Pat Brown. Did shows in my early years with Conway Twitty, Billy Preston, Louisiana's Lereaux and many more. Inspite of all the up's and down's I've experienced, I still enjoy what I do. I look forward to meeting new people and intend on performing till the good Lord tells me it's time to go fishing. I was born and raised right here in good old Franklin. ____________________________________________________________ ____Scott Broussard is my bass player. He is back with the band bringing along a solid bass line and his usual funny stuff. I've always said he should audition for comedy Central. Welcome back bud.________________________________________________________ ________ Mike Weaver is from Panama City Beach Florida. His father was a fine musician. Playing in his father’s band Mike played drums, bass and guitar. The experience of playing in a rhythm section gave Mike a solid musical foundation.Playing jazz, blues, zydeco, R&B, pop, country and swamp pop bands since moving to Lafayette Mike is able to entertain a variety of audiences. Mike’s guitar, harmonica and vocals add to the music. Using a guitar synthesizer Mike is able to make the guitar sound like many instruments.________________________________________________ ________________Mike Binet is my Drummer. There were approx. 95,000 people in attendance. Zachary Richard headlined- which meant he closed the show with a 10 minute drum solo. Possibly the most proud moment of his career: When he heard the NEVILL BROS. on David Letterman show, playing a song that he wrote the original drum-score for. It was Sonny Landreth's CONGO SQUARE. The cool thing is that he wrote the drum beat because of the NEVILL BROS. (and METERS) huge influence on him. They heard the song an Sonny's album and recorded it on one of their albums.
