The Brock Scott Quartet was formed in April of 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia as an instrumental project and was originally a trio. After months of practicing, the Trio decided to change the direction of their music, to appeal to a wider audience. They soon thereafter moved up to the status of a quartet with the addition of their good friend Jason on drums and percussion.
The derivative of the combined efforts of the members of the BSQ is an eclectic sound fusing aspects of jazz, folk, blues, rock and ambient melodies. Working to construct a truly intimate sound with their self-titled release, Brock Scott has created a unique catalyst modernizing the traditional balladeer. The Quartet’s euphony seduces listener’s ears by coaxing mellifluent melodies that add a unique structure to their compositions. The album’s multifarious compilations carry the listener on a journey that is sure not to disappoint.

Ryan Donald (Kubicki, Double Bass and Back-up Vocals)
