Get a scroller sign at editmyspace.org! From the tender age of 5, Brandi has always been determined and exorted her artistic talent on the stage. Originally from New Orleans, La, Brandi has been dancing, singing and writing for as long as she can remember. Debuting in the Nutcracker in Houston,TX in 1991 she studied aspects of ballet, tap, belly dance and went into concentrated studies in Traditional African Dance. She became a professional dancer with CULU Children's African Dance Company with choreographer Mariama Curry in 1997 and then with the adult company, N'Kafu Traditional African Dance Company. In 2004, Brandi traveled to Hollywood, Ca to study briefly under Kimberly Daniels and has since delved head first into the world of choreography. She currently teaches four dance classes in Hip-Hop and African Dance in Brooklyn, NY and has performed at venues such as Brooklyn Fashion Week[end] and Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach for Lot 29. Brandi is the founder and head choreographer for a group of hip-hop dance kids ages 10-18 called "B-Boys and Girls" who kicked off their school year performing for Hot97's "Stay-in-School" concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in the Manhattan Center.For booking information, CONTACT AT:
