I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Thanks for checking out my page! Most people know me from hosting the afternoon show on K Country. I hope after checking out this site, you'll know a little more about the person behind the radio show.I have been divorced for several years. My ex wife and I are good friends, and I keep in close contact with my stepdaughter Brandy, who is now a mother of three.I am a country music fan...I have played in bands in the past (bass guitar, lead vocals). During my musical career, I had the pleasure to open concerts for John Conlee, Gene Watson, Collin Raye, Ricky Skaggs, Sawyer Brown, Earl Thomas Conley, Trick Pony, John Anderson, Joe Diffie, Travis Tritt, and others. My band performed in the Orlando area at The Barn, Cheyenne Saloon, and Sullivans. In the late 80's, Johnny Rodriguez hired us as his band for all his concerts in Florida. These days, when I am not working, I spend time with family, go to antique auctions (hello to David at Turkey Creek) I fish when I can, and play my guitars and keyboards. I also love horseback riding.Myspace Layouts @ JellyMuffin.com

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If I could go back in time, Thomas Jefferson. One of the greatest minds our country has ever produced! We could use someone of his intelligence and ethics today to put this country back in the right direction!Merle Haggard, one of the greatest singers and songwriters ever (I have a guitar I'm dying to have him sign!)I hope to someday tell Merle that his music is what got me into country music. I guess I owe my career to him!Linda Ronstadt, my first "love", when I was 12. I got to see her in concert once, and it was before I had access to backstage passes. I still think she is one of the finest singers ever. She was inspired by Patsy Cline, and if you go back a few years, almost every female singer said Linda influenced them! She helped many singers and songwriters along the way, including Emmylou Harris, who later introduced us to Ricky Skaggs, Rodney Crowell, and Vince Gill, who played in her bands. And, who could forget that one of Linda's own bands later became the Eagles! For some reason, I am a sucker for ladies with British accents...Kelly LeBrock and Kate Beckinsale, just to name a couple!
