At the age of 27, Joel Scott Davis has already made a name for himself as a composer, songwriter, and performer. His compositions have been widely performed and recorded at such esteemed venues as Carnegie Hall, and critics have praised his music for its "honest beauty, sincerity, and musical imagination." As a Doctorate of Musical Arts student at Claremont Graduate University, he is currently studying composition with Grammy-nominated composer Peter Boyer. He has also studied with Edward Zeliff, James A. Jensen, Rebecca Remley and Bob Burroughs.
