Writing a biog for one's own band is always a bit of a pain in the arse. So we are going to try and give you as much info as we can without sounding too stuck up. Sean Pregnolato (Guitar & Lead Vocals) & Kevin Bowman (Bass & Backing Vocals) started playing music together in the sunny setting of Cape Town...10 years ago. Quickly heading up to speed with the local Cape Town music scene, enjoying odd genres here and there from hippie folk to speed metal they eventually settled as part of the backing band for radio acclaimed CT act, Wishbone. Outgrowing the small CT music scene they headed for the not so sunny shores of London, England. Strangely, after a twelve hour flight the band never really materialised. Some went to Sweden, some went to Reigate and some remained. Falling in and out of blues jams all across London and working in hard house clubs at least 6 nights a week, Sean soon realised that he didn't have any songs of his own. And so the battle with the laptop pc began. Open mic nights, lock ins, lock downs, and house parties (plenty of) followed. Graeme van Rensburg (Wishbone's old drummer) came back into the picture as the two shared a house above a Kentucky Fried Chicken. So, feeling as itchy as ever to play live, Sean put some bass down on the laptop, Graeme played drums and the duo played every dodgy pub in North London - that would let them. Kevin eventually found his way back up from Reigate playing bass better than ever before. After a twenty-minute rehearsal, they booked a few more gigs and a sound started to develop. However, like sand through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives. Graeme moved onto greener pastures and Kevin and Sean found themselves in exactly the same spot as 10 years ago albeit in London, England. With a long string of gigs booked, auditioning a new drummer was an uphill battle. Most people don't like South Africans so they got the mouse out and programmed some drums on an ageing laptop. We missed a few names, places and faces - boys, girls and the in-betweens but you all know who you are and have shaped this story more than ever. Now kindly scroll up and press play. This is what we’ve done. You won’t find us on Wikipedia (not yet) but you will find us playing live at least 3 nights a week and yes, without a drummer. Cheers.Kevin Bowman's Profile
