'The King' tells a bit of the story about what made Elvis such a great man, icon and long living legend. ZIPPIN PIPPIN wrote 'The King' while living in, London, England. It first got an airing at a smokey ole pub in Camden town where the electric presence of 'his' spirit summoned a guitar man to join ZP in an improvised jam birthing.
Who is ZIPPIN PIPPIN?
ZIPPIN PIPPIN was born in Memphis and named after The King's favourite roller coaster at Libertyland, the popular Memphis attraction which was also the location of Elvis' last public outing.
ZIPPIN PIPPIN moves round a lot.
He first saw snow in USA; he caught a double-decker bus in London town; he tried Pad Thai in Bangkok; swam at Cottesloe in Perth; rode dodgems in Adelaide; drank Bud Light on Sunset Boulevard and climbed to the top of the Empire State.
And the journey is just beginning...the pilgrimage aint over:
