The people-in-charge who require foreign language classes to get a college degree; as opposed to taking more classes in your major. SERIOUSLY..what is the point? Historically it was another notch in the blue-blood's college diploma that widened the gap between the new aged aristocracy and the commoner. Fine, I don't have a problem with that. But NOW the point is that they think it looks good to have a University that has a foreign language department. HOWEVER, no one would take the classes so they MAKE you take them. It is a prime example of how the University system needs to completely overhauled.
