The Son of Soul And Blues: Brock Lightning, has walked a long way, from his days as the Lead Singer of R&B SOUL group Perfect Pitch, a krew of his truly best friends Brock, Sheldon, James, Alex & Oneil were the original members but the personel changed over the years the last line up was Brock, Sheldon, Shawn and brothers Peter and Paul.The group rocked local talent shows with there dancing and harmonies they began singing in their buildings hallways @ 163 ocean ave East flatbush Brookliyn following in hte giant footsteps of their Idols New Edition.The group split up in 1997 before a pending reunion could be finalized due the untimly death of Sheldon Christopher and original member and brocks closest friend. Brock began to question if he should go on in music without his friend but after a short layoff, Brock decided to return to the music scene and try to live out the dream he and Sheldon imagined so many years ago. Once out on his own Brock peformed and won numorous awards in local talent shows as a solo vocalist. the Son of a drummer David Carson brock began to really focus on his Guitar playing, playing all over the city from Brooklyn to manhattan to NJ it all clicked it all fell into place, after all Brock comes from a long line of musicians it was only right he take his place among them So after selling out crowds for an off b'way play with his underground hit a tribute to the people of New Orleans the BLUES/SOUL CLASSIC called New Orleans Flood which he wrote and composed along with
his new CD JAHLIYA named after his neice due spring 2009 after many set backs it's on.
