Born: Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
My birth weight was only 2 pounds.
Hence the name Deuce.I grew up on the west side of STL attending both city & county schools.Parents: (Mother)Carol Jean McCullough, Reginald Simmons (Father).
Family: Seven Brothers, Five Sisters, Zero Children of my own.Place of Prayer: St. Lukes Church (located at Finney at Grand Blvd.)No descriminaton between the races of people regardless of color or creed.
Even though I have no children of my own , I enjoy spending time with and mentoring them. I am driven to work hard and motivated to achieve my goals and dreams as a writer / performing rap artist in the music industry.I have been in Saint Louis all my life. The hardest thing I've ever done is the life conversion from hustlin' on the streets to hustlin' my own music. I have learned that it doesn't matter what my music sounds like to me, it has to be embraced by the listeners.I have performed at a variety of local venues such as:
Toxic, The Vault, The Spot, Millenium and several house parties and I'm looking ahead to many more.I feel fortunate for my past knowledge learned on the streets, even my hard knock lessons from dealings with gangs, drugs, and other negative influences.
After losing a brother, cousin and ohers to the senseless violence I decided there was a better life for me if I wanted it bad enough to strive for it.I started my love for music, beat-boxing and writing lyrics in middle school.
I intend to stay focused and achieve my aspirations in the music and fashion industry.
