13th Chime

I Knew The Coffin Maker...

About Me

This Is A Shrine To The Greatest Band Of All Time... Please Respect It's Profligacy And Do Not Leave Spam And Other Such Nonsense On This Page! We Come Here To Worship... Not Sell Louis Vutton Handbags.
This page is not run by the 13th Chime as they are disbanded, but is run by a crazed, overly obsessed UBER fan... If you can make any contributions to this page such as pictures and or info, etc. It would be most appreciated.
The Chime formed in 1980 in the small London over-spill town of Haverhill in Suffolk. The Chime was born out of the British Punk scene. Vocalist Mick Hand, guitarist Gary O'Connor and drummer Ricki cook were previously in a band called The Antix along with Rupert who sadly died before 13th Chime took off, while bass player Terry Taylor played with the hard hitting three piece The Wynd-ups.
Sacred Bones Records are re-releasing all three of 13th Chime's singles on LP and CD that will also include demo tracks the Chime did for IRS records and live recordings from Cambidge 1980. An official release date has not yet been posted...
Check back for updates... It may take a few months to get everything organised and put together, etc.
