One Brick Films is currently in the final stages of post-production for the first feature film based on a story by W. Watts Biggers called A WOMAN CALLED JOB starring Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly, Riding In Cars With Boys, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen) and Tamara Feldman (Perfect Strangers, Hatchet, Dirty Sexy Money).Director Kurt Burk is working closely with veteran editor Ed Marx (Peaceful Warrior, Swimming With Sharks, Jeepers Creepers I & II).
One Brick Films has recently announced THE MAN INSIDE as the next feature film on its production slate. The screenplay is based on the 1968 novel by W. Watts Biggers. Production is planned to commence in 2009.

One Brick Films, LLC is a feature film development and production company co-founded in April 2006 by writer / director Kurt Burk and producer Mark J. Melchiori.
The legendary creator of the cartoon series "Underdog", W. Watts Biggers has found a home at One Brick Films which is dedicated to transforming his unique stories into compelling films for everyone to enjoy.
ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Kurt Burk grew up in Boston and earned his BBA in Business, majoring in Finance and minoring in Psychology, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He earned his certificate in Film Production from New York University before making the move to Los Angeles. After a brief period working as a cinematographer and producer for low-budget commercials, Kurt attented the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he obtained his MFA in Film and began adapting unique stories into screenplays to produce and direct.
Mark J. Melchiori received his Bachelor of Science in Business, with an emphasis in Strategic Planning and Management, at California Lutheran University. Currently he is the Founder and Head of Melchiori Investment Companies, LLC, specializing in Real Estate and Private Equities Transactions in the Development Business. Mr. Melchiori is also president of Melchiori Construction Company, Inc., a California Builder and Developer of Commercial Real Estate and Construction Management Services. His experience represents over several million square feet of building space and combined budgets of nearly $500 million.
