Rosanne has collaborated with an eclectic collection of musical characters, most recently with John Roome aka Witchman. This particular collaboration has previously resulted in musical contributions to, popular Amerian T.V. shows like Cold Case and Nip Tuck, The Unknown Ghosts, Reality Check, Restless in Innassylum and Leave No Trace on Ultra Chilled O1, and some tunes with the Scandinavian band Livstrompet on their album Scandinavian South.What started as a passion for singing freestyle led to recording with Edinburgh based Finitribe back in the late 80's early 90's whom at that time were signed to One Little Indian, what followed was some Noise Lust and Fun with Electrolux, Finis, Disturb and Ultra staying on for an Unexpected Groovy Treat with Forevergreen.In the mid nineties she worked with Edinburgh based Coco And The Bean with the result that they then signed to Mantra Recordings (one of the Beggars Banquet group) and released the singles Western Ways and Killing Time (simultaneously Single of the Week in Echoes, Music Week and the NME) Around the same time, with these guys, there were various film soundtracks – notably the Gregg Araki film Nowhere - compilations and recordings etc, like Melted and Wasters with the East Coast Project, an extended Edinburgh based jazz/soul/hiphop collective on Natural Response. Additionally the E.C.P. released Blunted 1 & 2 in the U.S. on Shadow Records. Rosanne also worked with others in this East coast collective such as 3 Bag Brew, The Outa'nationals, Freshly Squeezed and Stevie Christie.Her love of tea and a jam has taken her into many a studio and tunes were created with Paul Haig of Joseph K (ROL), Nik P.T. of Puchi (plumpstudios.com), Grand Unified, Dino Martino (mystifier), Tim Saul (earthling) Aqua Bassino and more, and all of this just a stretch of the imagination from her initiation into this weird and wonderful musical world as a Revette with the Revillos in 1982.Along with making music and raising a family Rosanne also studied sculpture and has recently graduated from Edinburgh College of Art.
