Back for More and Shredder Guitarist

About Me

I started playing piano from age 9 to 11, then switched to guitar after seeing Van Halen's "Jump" video. After studying with Rob Wood, I was in my first band by age 14. After 4 teachers, including the one & only Al Pitrelli, I continue to shred. I've played in tons of cover bands (Mostly known for guitarist in Mr. Scary(Dokken tribute) and (not so serious) original projects.
I've finally decided to write music on a much serious level.Cover songs are alot of fun,but it's very cool to get a good reaction to something you yourself wrote.Any piece of music I'm involved in,is gonna get no less than 100percent. With the originals on the shelf,I'm currently playing with "Back For More".A fun band, paying tribute to music I grew up with plus, some current stuff.Sometimes, you have to get back to the reason you started playing:Having fun, being genuine to your craft, playing every note with conviction. After 20 years of playing guitar, I still haven't even scratched the surface. I'm teaching guitar lessons on the side, which is always a great feeling. I hope to make my mark in the music world.~ Mark
