About Me

This site is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox or Safari (Mac Users).
Hi. My name is Junjun - pronounced jyuun jyuun (aka A.J.) and I love movies. I'll watch just about anything and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with others. In 2003 I took the plunge and got me a nifty 42" Plasma TV, and the way we 'vegged-out' changed forever.
About twice a month ... well, actually whenever I feel like it, I invite a select group of friends (A.J. Cinema only seats 7) for screenings of the latest BLU RAY releases and, occasionally, some old favorites. The tradition began in 2003 when the company I work for was locked in a 5-month long strike. It was a great way to get everyone together and forget our troubles for a couple of hours. Refreshments are always available and run the gamut from popcorn, to 'lumpia-shanghai' (an A.J.Cinema favorite).
If you would like to suggest a film for screening, or just say "hi,"please leave a "comment" or email us.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants to talk movies, music, or art. Seen anything good? Anything bad? I wanna hear about it! Top of the list at the moment: DREW STRUZAN (Illustrator). One of the most prolific and talented illustrators in the business, he's the reason I focused on illustration and design in college.

WALL.E Review

...Just a few words about PIXAR's latest opus..., that it accomplishes a galaxy's worth, with well... such "few words." A huge risk for the usually dizzying display and noise of Pixar's might. Never...

FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL Review

With the exception of "Walk Hard," and "Drillbit Taylor," producer Judd Apatow is more renowned for his "comedy rooted-in-truth" fare such as "The 40-Year-Old-Virgin," "Knocked-Up," and "Superbad." H...
