Many years ago under the Helderberg Mountains four 7th and 8th graders formed a band called Clear Cover not knowing that 75% of this childhood super group (Chris, Mike and Josh) would become The Roundbale Conpiracy. We had to take a hiatus during puberty due to the fact we couldn't sing a note because our voices were cracking. During highschool we weren't playing much as a band either, we were too busy doing our homework! (yeah right!) In about '96 or so Toadstool Groove was formed. That group fell apart when our lead guitar player had to leave the stage due to some self induced mental torment. Oh well! It's '98 and we now have The Roundbale Conspiracy v1.0 consisting of Josh and Chris playing acoustic music at Indian Ladder Farms to entertain the eaters. Did that for a while, then added another guitar and harmony (Mike). After going through a few drummers, Dave Wayne was the man for the job. Bill Schwartz, who started out as sound man, was also on stage filling out the sound. And thats how the Roundbale Conspiracy was formed! We released a CD "As Fresh As It Gets" in 2001.
