Singing has always a part of her life. As a child growing up in New York City Housing Authoritys, Ravenswood Houses; singing was her escape from her daily struggles. Marchette started singing at the age 9. Being encouraged by her Mother, Marchette joined the youth choir of a small church in Jamaica Queens NY at the age of 12. In later years she would move on to singing with Rev Robert Lowe and the Queens Community Choir, the Redeem Voices of Praise of The Community Church of Astoria and K. Smith and the Love for Christ Ensemble.Marchette was a student at the High School of Music and Art; she also won a Scholarship to The Lee Strasberg Theater Inst. Where she continued her study of Voice as well as Acting, Speech and Diction. Her voice has touched many people in many ways all across this country and aboard in places such as, Norway, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, The Netherlands and Germany. Though Marchette has met and worked with the best in the music industry, Marchette still remains humble, constantly reminding people, God gave me this voice.
