Currently and forever will be a potter! Born and raised on LI. Hearing problems all my life until 11 years ago and had the cochlear ear implant. I'm one of the lucky few who got most of my hearing back. Married my high school sweetheart and have great kids. I work as a ceramic artist. There's no money in it whatsoever, unless you've died a spectacular death, which I'm not envisioning for several more decades. I do alot of different artworks. I LOVE animals.I believe in reincarnations and karma. I like being alone in the ceramic studio with John Fogerty going full blast on the radio. I'm not the same size as I was in high school, but, hey, who isn't? Forget the "plus woman" label. Fat and huge and don't want to date is the motto. Got my first tattoo on my 45th birthday and I love it. Maybe because I'm having one jim dandy of a midlife crisis or maybe I just need to up my prozac dosage alot more, but I'm finding that I need to have more piercing in my ears, wanting to ride a motorcycle (with a side car) and fight aging with a breast lift. Whatever. The beauty of it all is that there's still alot more living to do. If I only wasn't so poor to do it. But hey, it could be worse. I could've been deaf forever. As long as I can do pottery, I am a happy mommy.
