About Me

“Joel’s passionate music adds depth to a world saturated with ‘candy-floss’ entertainment. If there’s ever been a time for his brand of rock, it’s most certainly now.”
—Joel Kroeker, Recording Artist, True North Records
"It's about time! Invigorating and refreshing. Full of creativity, passion and intensity. With The Rebellion of Camouflage Joel Geleynse finally goes where no Canadian artist has had the nerve.”
—Jeff McCann, Christrock Magazine
“Joel Geleynse is set on offering a new and engaging approach to the music scene with his well-executed debut album The Rebellion Of Camouflage. The disc is an impressive first release that shows strong potential for this artist in the future. You’ll be hearing more from Geleynse, guaranteed."
—Josh McConnell, Renown Magazine
“Have you heard? REAL music is back!! Joel's music is so personal and passionate, it slices through the trivialities of existence and into the heart of being human.”
—Karen Heeringa, Artist
"This is soul music in a new genre and it is captivating. Joel has an enticing pull into a haunting melody of deep thought and beauty."
—Lorna Dueck, Listen Up TV / Globe and Mail Columnist
“The jewel of this premier recording is found in the opening cut. In Presupposition, Joel levels a poignant, well-executed attack at postmodern relativism. The catchy techno-pop sound, strong lyrics, and powerful sound bites quickly and effectively undresses the contemporary god of tolerance. If radio proved courageous enough to play such an out-of-the-box tune, the response from listeners would be considerable.”
—Peter Fleck, Christian Week
“I love this CD—especially the first track, “Presupposition”. Joel has an important message for this generation.”
—Judi Vankevich, Recording Artist / The Manners Club
“Joel breathes fresh life into the age-old struggle to speak of mystical reality. His prophetic observations challenge a world gone mad with itself and insistently create unease about the disease of human failure.”
—Brian Stiller, President, Tyndale University College and Seminary

"Presupposition" Music Video:
I am a singer songwriter, with a rock band. For a short time, I was working on the world's largest cruise ship and in a show in Mexico as a figure skater to earn tons of money cuz my rock band days drove me broke and I needed more money for the next album and more shows and to eat and buy a house and stuff, and a car... and to become the shallow selfish materialisitc person I've always aspired to be.
