I'm an artist (<-- click), and I've been drawing all my life. My favorite things to draw are cars and cartoons; I've loved 'em both for as long as I can remember. When I was just a lil' 'toon, I cruised around town with Dad in our '54 Chevy Bel Air. We used to go watch all the old cars in the parades on the 4th of July and other warm-weather holidays -- which probably explains my obsession with fire engines too. I'm also big into music -- I like pretty much everything from classical to the hard stuff. But I can't stand rap, and I *hate* country with a passion. But yeah...I dig jazz, blues, Big Band, all eras of Rock n' Roll, and yes, heavy metal. I'm even still into grunge. If music is really good, it'll be good forever -- not just for a year or two. I'm pretty sure I dig classical music because of all the Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry I watched. Well, I still watch 'em. And so should you.
I have a thing for movies, too. Especially action flicks -- those and comedies. I also dig epics and sci-fi. And epic sci-fi. I've seen most of the car movies ever made, and even those that just have a halfway-decent chase scene. Wanna make me happy? Buy me DVDs. Aaaah, the wonders of all-digital surround sound...
I was born pretty young in Pennsylvania, grew up near Chicago, and I live in Oklahoma now. If you're thinking there must not be much to do in Oklahoma...you're right. That explains why I'm so into movies, music, and cartoons.
Oh, and I'm active at Church on the Move in Tulsa.
