PER TUTTI I BATTERISTI INTERESSATI CHIAMARE 346-3730876BIOGRAPHYIn spring 2001, ONESELF rises as a music band, from Padua, and its composed by Mattia (guitar), Alessandro (guitar), Antonino ( singer), they came from other music bands and Simone (drummer).
ONESELF used its first year together to study the musical ability of each component and to understand how they can work with harmony as a band.
Also, they needed to realize what style of music they can use to play and try to make it work.
Initiality the roll of each musician was divided as we already seen above but in the same year ONESELF decide to make some arranges.
For example: Antonino starts as a vocalist and at present his playing in the keyboards.
This change helps to improve the sound of the tracks that ONESELF was preparing.
Another example is Mattia that now is known as the lead vocalist bringing more energy and a bit of eccentricity to the songs.
After a year of hard work, Mek, the bassist, enter into the band bringing new musical influences that was totally the opposite of what ONESELF decided to play, which was NU-METAL.
For professional problem Mek had to leave ONESELF.
After six month he was substituded by Francesco, Alessandros brother and finally ONESELF was completed to make the most important step for the band.. play their own songs.
ONESELF began this course spending lot of time, money and patience.
Initially, the components didnt know how to pre-registrate but making step by step, they learn, they improve and overall, they made it.
The components of ONESELF finished composing tracks using nu-metal roots.
On autumn 2003/2004 ONESELF had decide to partecipate in the Emergenza competition and play for the first time in pubblic.
The result was very positive and it was a good experience for the band; ONESELF arrived at the fourth place in the competition and initially they felt disappointed of loosing the competition but at the end of all, ONESELF understands that the songs were interesting enough to record them.
So, taking courage, the band started to play in small concerts and in other events, getting better, and ONESELF as a group, was filling more satisfactory of their job.
On February 2005, ONESELF recorded its first demo.
The band was doing serious work and goes very rusty with all the critics. ONESELF didnt left anything apart; they also were working for the graphics deciding the best and show it to their friends and fans.
In the end, ONESELF has only one thing left to do; its to wait and to be trusty of the future that is coming for them.
