Add to My Profile | More VideosWe generally specify in Alternative Rock, but we try to keep it as eclectic as possible. There are different nights at our different venues, so give us a bell and we'll see what we can do.We need your help though, as there's only so much a promotions company can do. Punters come to see bands, not the promotions company, so we need a promise from all of our acts that they'll bring at least 15 people to one of our gigs. This means we can push forward as a company and get your name out there, time and time again. Once we can get people down all the time, the word of mouth will spread and the nights and the bands will get bigger and better. Otherwise we wont surviiiiiiive..........Think of it as permanent charity work.......
Influences: Things that keep Pinksheep alive are:Afternoon naps, the current state of local shops (metawood, mpvl), jumpers for goal posts, dogs, beastie boys, floating burgers, go kart racing down windborough, sensible soccer, cornell, the ultimate warrior, bob dylan, the mighty boosh, alan partridge, roger the dodger, snakebites, bbq sauce, wet wipes, deuce bigalow: male gigolo, notorious b.i.g.
Sounds Like: Music is either good or bad. We prefer good. Bands that have played for us previously are: Emma Rushton, Scott McFarnon, Czagio, Wellertown, JC's Flatline Junkies, The ComComCommas, Martin Leay, Jay Gipson, 23 Enigma, Ollie Sudden, Le Shark, The Resistance, Sleepercurve, The Cold Bloods, Templar, Rebecca Worthley, Jono McCleery, Von Kleet, The Tunics, Marvin Hagglar, Steal Back Your Life, Inarchy, States, The Mooks, Sunsets on Vegas, The Malloys, Mela Rosa, 'Chop, Chop: Bear Touch?', Milk Kan, Airhammer, Jamie Woon, Anison, The Swines, Meet John Doe, The Kulaks, Sion, Purge. If you ain't got a clue what I'm chatting about, then I'd say we specify in alternative music (gonzo metal, funky punk, trapist acoustica etc etc) and some normalish stuff.
