African History Remembrance

We at Black History Remembrance are here to make people aware of the celebration of Black History month in October(in the UK) and Febuary(in the US). We are doing this by selling our badges and wristbands throughout the month of October.Black history is ancient and does not begin and end at slavery. There is much to know about Black history and we hope to inform a new generation of this.The Black History Remembrance logo is the symbol of the cotton boll in bloom. We chose this symbol because cotton and the cotton industry were one of the major industries that the west cited as the reason slavery was needed.Black people were taken from their homes to foreign lands to pick cotton. Many died on the way and many fought and died to be free.
