VAIL WINTER SEASON STARTS NOVEMBER 16! Vail's Snow Daze event will kick off the winter season with a week long celebration from Dec. 3-Dec. 9.***Come celebrate the start of the winter season at Vail with incredible snow, terrain openings and the biggest early season party in North America featuring a week-long calendar packed with daytime and nighttime events and activities! The Ute Indian’s traditional Snow Dance kicks off the week, followed by daily DJ’s spinning at the base areas, on-mountain bands, FREE Ski Tips from Vail’s Snowsports School, the celebration of Vail’s Birthday, snowball eating contests and more! The week is highlighted by three nights of entertainment including headliner Ludacris and The Roots, Saturday December 8 (the other two nights are soon to be announced). Be sure not to miss the Dummy Gelunde World Championships – watch your favorite “dummy” crash and burn off the big air jump at Golden Peak! After dark, the fun continues with nightly entertainment all around town; bar parties, a fashion show, and Dine Around Vail (discounts at Vail’s top restaurants) and more! And, all week be on the lookout for the Vail Snow Daze Angel Patrol – they will be randomly handing out 1,000 snowflakes including, FREE lunch, concert tickets, snow gear and more!
