Life is amazing. I have a great place, good job, an amazing family and circle of friends and the sun is always shinning, even on the down days.I've live with 2 cats, 2 birds, my roommate's cat, a phenomenal roommate and now have a beautiful black lab who lives with my other half downstairs.
Insanely lucky me found myself dating my incredible downstairs neighbor who has quickly become my best friend, my partner, the man of my dreams and the love of my life. I couldn't be happier if I tried and while I'm happy to stand strong and independent on my own two feet, I am thrilled to say I owe so much of it to him, the strength he gives me and the abounding joy he brings to my world.
I've re-discovered many passions I'd long since forgotten including all things outdoors (camping, hiking, etc.), photography and learning new things. Recently I've been working on some basic photography skills (some of my work is in my album) and have been learning more and more about community and wilderness First Aid (CPR, AED, WFA certifications) through the Center for Wilderness Safety, a Northern Virginia based program that has taught courses along the east coast and travels to where there is need.
