About Me
The band was created in 1994 in Assis, São Paulo countryside, and it moved downtown São Paulo in 1997. From that moment on many changes went through, including the death of the singer in 1999, because of that the bass player had to take the lead of the band in the honour of the dead friend. From 1999 on, the band has already shared the stage with some national and international famous bands like como D2, Charlie Brown Jr., Ivete Sangalo, O Rappa, Inner Circle, Amlak (Steel Pulse), Gladiators, Edson Gomes and some others…A completely alternative style with a very strong reggae influence…
The most recent job of the band was produced by Rodrigo Loli and it was recorded at Tonelada Studio.
The cd has ten songs and Gerson da Conceição (Mano Bantu), Dú Trompete and Rodrigo Loli play special parts.
The cd received the title of “As duas faces da moeda", which means “the two sides of the coinâ€, a cd which can please anyone because it really reveals the two sides of the band and it shows how versatile it is.
From this cd on, the band enlarged its possibilities in a very positive way. Here in São Paulo, the Jovem Pan radio station had a contest and the cd was considered one of the ten best independent cds in Brazil (it was elected by the listeners) The song “Som pra namoradaâ€, which means “a song for my girlfriendâ€, has been played in all reggae radio programs around Brazil and it was considered one of the ten most played songs in EspÃrito Santo, Piauà and São Luiz.
It’s really worth listening…Band players
