What's meant to be will always find a way

About Me

So I guess I better put something here about me, huh? I'm 33, brunette, 5'3"ish and like all the other women on the net, I resemble insert name of favorite supermodel here. Ha! I'm slightly above average on a good day, and those are few and far between. My favorite outfit to wear is a pair of flannel jammie pants and a t-shirt, or a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Shoes optional, socks almost always! That should summarize me pretty well. I love love love music, all kinds, and don't think I'm referring to the "well, I like classic rock, but not country" or "I like rap, but hate jazz" kind of way, I LOVE IT ALL! Anything that can strike an emotion, bring back a memory, change a mood. My playlist includes everything from Ace of Bass to ZZ Top (it truly does, I just looked, lol...add "bit of a geek" to the about me thing) with something from every music genre known to man in between. Most days you can find me sitting at my computer, with my music on so loud that I can't hear how offkey I sing, and a smile on my face. I spend a lot of time trolling the net for new music, reading the news, and chatting with the lovely people in Ripped Stockingz Chat (bunch of freaks, but they're sweet to me and likely to see this, so I want to add a nice word....love you folks!) Seriously though, a great group of friends that have saved my sanity a time or twelve, and they made me those way cool pictures with my name on 'em, so extra YAY there :D Several months ago, a few of the people that have chatted together for a long time decided we wanted to see what it was like to run a radio station so we threw together a half assed thing called Ripped Radio and lo and behold...the damn thing did great! As of now, I'm DJ'ing Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00pm EST and Fridays from 12:00pm-3:00pm EST. I've discovered that what I lack in talent with being a DJ, I make up for in enthusiasm and kick ass music taste! The station has some other great DJ's too, you can check it out at http://www.myspace.com/radiobyripped (Shameless plug alert!) I can't think of much else that is all that interesting about me, I've got 2 lovely children, a 10 year old son and a 12 year old daughter, and I love them to bits even though they're spoiled and rotten (that's not a typo, the AND was sposed to be there), I've been married for 80 million years to a wonderful man who tolerates all my quirky ways, I have two kittens that I tolerate though they attack my feet, and would trade them both (and maybe the kids too) for one well trained dog. Just kidding, just kidding.....I'd only trade the one bad kitten. I'd like to be one of those crazy proud parents who put their kids photo's up and all that, but I've been on the internet too long to do that, it's just got too many freaks....you know, the kind that use the whole chicken, not just the feathers. Oooh, and I fancy myself as being witty. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, can be a brat I spose (I think all women feel required to state that, some sort of disclaimer type of thing to cover them in case they're ever bitchy to you), I'm loyal and kind of old fashioned, always been more one-of-the-guys than one-of-the-girls, I'm an egomaniac, insecure, overly confident, hypocritical, temperamental, emotional, cold, heartless, mushy, weepy, demanding, bossy, submissive, quiet, obnoxious, you know....female. Okay, enough of my ramblings, now you know more about me than ya did before, plus, you've wasted untold minutes of your life on MySpace.....kick ass!!! Waste a couple of more and leave me a comment or something, isn't that how this thing works?
