Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, 2 Gutta grew up around the music of the south. From the the hymns of the old Baptist Church, the booty music in the club, to the Dirty South music you here today. At age 12, Gutta developed an interest in Hip Hop. Growing up in low income housing, he was surrounded by the harsh reality that is glamourized in Hip Hop today. Like most young men in the hood today, Gutta was faced with the common influences, such as, drugs, guns, and crime. Rather falling victim to streeets he use that as fuel to drive him toward his goals. Though it was hard, he maintained, leaving behind his past, but remembering it. Inspired by icons like Outkast,Scarface,Too Short and many more, Gutta was given the gift of words. What he thought was just poetry at one time, was really the beginning of his career in the huge industry that we call Hip Hop. Now at 24 years old Gutta is still sharing his experiences and life lessons through his music. Some have said that they've gotten goose bumps from listening to his words. He considers himself a young veteren being that he has been in the game for 7 years. Now with a great track record, performances with major artist (Bubba Sparxx, Three 6 Mafia), and at least a dozen albums and mixtapes under his belt, Gutta feels that it is time for the world to here him. Now as an artist with ATG and part owner of Powermove Recordings, (www.powermoverecordings.com), there is no doubt that 2 Gutta will maintain his place in the game and change the sound of the south. 2 Gutta is the next big thing and ATG is the future of the Dirty South!
