Hometeam Brandon Leak hails straight from Decatur, GA better known as The Dec. Growing up, Hometeam never dreamed of being a radio personality as a matter of fact, he wanted to be a lawyer. But, God had something else in store.
Before joining the ranks of radio, Hometeam worked in bank operations and even at the post office; he also attended Morehouse College.
In 2000, Hometeam lost a bet with an on-air personality and paying off that bet landed him a gig as an intern at Atlantas 790 The Zone. In six years, Hometeam has worked his way from intern to on-air personality, and hes not stopping there!
You can catch Hometeam on the air (790 AM in Atlanta or www.790thezone.com) Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Chris Dimino Show. And there it is!

Send the best is what I say, as the USA goes down at the world championships AGAIN! The USA brought home the bronze medal with Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. How could this happen? Once again, we (the USA ) chose to send less than our best to World Championships; once again, our team returned home without the gold medal.
No Kobe Bryant, the NBAs leading scorer (although he was hurt); no Kevin Garnet, the NBAs leading rebounder; Marcus Camby, the NBAs leading shot blocker no, no, no!!!
How many times will it take to learn that the world has caught up to us in basketball??? Greece , Spain and the rest of the European nations have proven that fundamental basketball with guys who have played together for years, IS enough to beat the USAs less-than-best. Yet, we continue to send them.
We (the USA ) shot poorly from the three-point line - without out Rip Hamilton (the NBAs best shooter), who was not a member of this years team. We also struggled with the zone defenses Greece continued to throw our way. Even with Coach K at the helm, a flawed team could not produce the Blue Devil magic.
Our best players need to go OR we will continue to bring home non-gold medals And, there it is!!!
