The Mime Boyz was organized in the spring of 1996 under the direction of the theatrical ministry choreographer; Sis. Leslie Hall of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, in Eatonville, FL, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Willie C. Barnes.These young men are committed to God and allow Him to use them in a most unique way to spread Gods love all over the United States through the ministry of mime. They combine their youthful spirit with the best in inspirational and Christ-centered music to accomplish their goal. Not only are they involved in their churches and community, but also let their lights shine wherever they go.They have uplifted audiences at numerous churches, banquets, anniversaries, conferences, funerals, prisons, and other functions throughout the nation. They have opened up for many national recording artist and preachers of the gospel like, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Yolonda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Paul S. Morton, just to name a few. They performed at The Dreamers Award Banquet, put on by Steve Harvey, with other guest major artist, such as Female Vocalist, "Fantasia", and Musiq Soul Child. They have recieved national recognition for there performance on the world renowned show, "Apollo", in New York City.The one and only mission of the Mime Boyz are to win souls for Jesus Christ.
