My wife and I perform and write original material. She goes by 'Katie Joy'. We like that because her middle name, 'Joy', says a lot about what our music is about. Our music is about real life struggles, overcoming fear through faith, and finding joy in the midst of suffering and struggle. Not a fake kind of fleeting happiness, but a joy that that is fundamental to the ability to face life's struggles with a strong sense of peace, purpose, meaning and confidence. We are passionate about the message of a 'joy' that surpasses understanding, available through a relationship with our creator. That kind of belief is a trust in the unseen, and faith is the evidence of things unseen.We are currently in the process of recording our first full length album (release - 2010). We plan to release a single off of this project in August 2009, entitled 'Wall of Strength'.
